Transformative Wisdom is a 6 step 6 week course designed to increase your awareness of your emotions, thoughts, and beliefs and to identify patterns and old outdated false beliefs that do not serve you and keep you from realizing your full potential.
My goal is to give you strategies and techniques that you can integrate into your daily life that will allow you to continue on this path of transformation long after the course is done.

Course Details:
The TW Course is a 6 week, 6 step program that is offered live in studio or on zoom.
Each week we meet for 1.5 hours to discuss the topic that week and play with guided mental exercises using mindfulness training, visualization, and meditation. You do not need experience with any of these techniques.
Receive weekly handouts summarizing the main points discussed and instructions for the exercises we play with that week so you can practice throughout the week and after the course is done.
Two course dates to choose from:
Thursdays starting January 23, 7-8:30 pm (ET) for 6 weeks

Saturdays starting January 25, 10:30 am - 12 pm (ET) for 6 weeks

Step 1: identify your emotions
New ways to understand emotions - What are they?
How Emotions give insight into the workings of the mind
Connection between emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and behaviour
Releasing judgement of emotions
Experience guided exercises to get to know your emotions and how they are connected to thoughts and beliefs
Week 2: Are your Thoughts Driving you Nuts?
Step 2: Identify your thoughts
New ways to understand thoughts - What are they?
How thoughts give insight into what we believe
Typical thought patterns we all need to change and how to change them
Consciously choosing what to think and thus, how you feel
Releasing judgement of thoughts
Experience guided exercises to increase your awareness of your thoughts and how they impact you, identifying your patterns.
Week 3: What Beliefs do you Cling to?
Step 3: Identify your beliefs
New ways to understand beliefs - what are they?
How to discern the difference between thoughts and beliefs
How to identify the beliefs that support you and the ones that do not
How beliefs give us insight into the foundation of the mind
How and why beliefs are constantly changing
Experience guided exercises to identify core beliefs that need changing and experience the difference between thoughts and beliefs
Week 4: Are your Beliefs True?
Step 4: How to change beliefs
The subjectivity of beliefs.
Evaluate the validity of beliefs you have identified as needing to change.

A Little Bit About Susan
I believe that enormous inner growth is possible when you increase your awareness of your thoughts, behaviours, emotions and patterns. It is my passion to teach you how to use consciousness training practices to help shift your inner issues to help you find peace. We are all on our own unique life path that is full of rocks to stub toes on, slippery slopes, steep hills, and seemingly impassible bridges, with beautiful vistas, mountain peaks and lush forests. Every inch of that path has adventure, pain and opportunities for conscious and spiritual growth. I am here to help you travel that path with greater knowing and awareness, to identify the rocks before you stub your toe, to carefully traverse the slippery slopes and to hold your hand supportively as you climb that steep hill. Together at Pathways to Peace, we can discover all sorts of bits of wisdom as we delve deeply into who you truly are, your authentic self, and begin to express with your authentic voice.
I have always been interested in how our thoughts and perceptions shape our lives. With a start in Social Work and Sociology, I found some of those answers. Expanding on that foundation I explored the depths of yogic and meditation practices and ancient wisdom to gain even greater understanding of myself and others. Still searching for more, I found the practices of Reiki to delve into the realm of energy which is at the core of all life. All of these experiences have led me to a place beyond our brains, a place within that holds the wisdom of the Universe, and I now share all this with all who seek to know themselves, to clear their inner struggles, and find peace.
