Restorative Yoga with Reiki 

Friday Sept 15 & 22  7:30 pm at DanceBridge Dance Studio.
Friday Sept 22 at 9:30 am in Sandford.

Give yourself an evening of healing with Restorative Yoga: be guided into a variety of yoga postures that are completely supported with blankets, blocks and cushions and allow the body to fully relax, letting tissues open and loosen all on their own while the nervous system calms.  Your blissful experience will be enhanced further, as Susan offers hands on Reiki energy to balance and restore both your mind and body.  Find peace and stillness in this self nurturing experience.  Space is limited.    2 hours.  $40.00

Wednesday Sept 13 & Nov 8 – Yogic Breathing Techniques   Explore 3 different yogic breathing techniques and experience the effects of each.  One that calms and soothes the nervous system, one that awakens the energies and detoxifies the body intensely and one that balances left and right brain energies.   9: 30 – 11 am.  In Sandford.

Wednesday Sept 27 & Nov 22 – Yoga for Stress Management  Learn to deeply relax the body and mind using breath, gentle stretching, restorative Yoga postures and a deep relaxation/peace inducing meditation.   9:30 – 11 am.  In Sandford. 

Wednesday Oct 11 & Dec 13 – Playing with Mantras  The use of sound is powerful to quiet and focus the mind and induce relaxation and meditation.  We will play with 3-4 yogic sanskrit mantras learning the words, the meanings and how to use them with focus and mindfulness.  9:30 – 11 am.  In Sandford. 

Wednesday Oct 25 – The Inner Life of the Postures  Experience the postures in a more intense way.  Susan will guide your focus more deeply into the experiences of the mind while in postures to uncover new insights about the body, the way the mind thinks and perceives and the deeper connection we all have to that deeper aspect of ourselves.  9:30-11 am.  In Sandford.

Coming soon – Yoga Nidra with Chakra Balancing & Reiki – Experience an evening of deep yogic sleep and relaxation, as Susan guides you physically and mentally into a place of deep inner peace. Workshop will begin with a very brief explanation of Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep), the Chakra System (the body’s energy centres) and Reiki (specialized hands on energy healing). Once you have settled into peace, Susan will guide you in meditation to balance the chakras and you will receive hands on Reiki to nurture, re-balance and rejuvenate all the layers of your being.

Intro to Reflexology Course

This is not a certification course but rather a personal interest course.  Learn the foot “map”, techniques, some basic anatomy and healthy lifestyle information.

10 hours split over 3 or more days.

New***   Reiki Level 1 Course

Explore the basics of Reiki energy, history of the Dr. Usui method, the Spiritual connection, essentials of intuition, the 5 Spiritual Principles of Reiki, the 3 Pillars of Reiki, basic hand positions, Reiki on yourself, do’s and don’t’s, and the importance and power of intention.  Lots of hands on practice and receive an attunement to Reiki energy.        Full day:  9am – 4:30/5pm.

Intro to Crystals Workshop

Experience the energies of the crystals, learn what they can do, where they come from, how you can use them yourself on your own, how to care and clear them.  Lots of hands on playing with crystals and a guided meditation with crystals.
2 hours.

Healing with Crystals Workshop

Learn how crystals work in healing and be introduced to the basic crystal layout.  Includes an introduction to the chakras (energy centres) and the energy bodies.  Full demonstration.  Best done after experiencing Intro to Crystals workshop but not required.

What are they?  What do they do?  How do I balance these energy centres? How do these energy centres affect health? Answer these and many more questions about Chakras. Experience a variety of chakra balancing techniques.

Restorative Yoga with Reiki

Move through a series of restorative yoga postures (completely supported with bolsters, blankets, blocks) and fully relax into each position for up to 10 minutes while Susan imparts blissful Reiki energy.  A beautiful way to restore and rejuvenate the body, the mind and the spirit.

 1 1/2 – 2 hours.

Yoga for Insomnia

Learn about some of the causes and solutions to insomnia, when to see your Doctor and tips to help you get a full night’s sleep.  Plus, experience deep breathing and mental focusing exercises, some gentle stretching to release tensions and how to do a self guided deep relaxation.  At the end of the physical relaxation, you will experience a short guided meditation to help quiet the mind.

Yoga for Stress Management

Learn how stress affects the physical body and the mind and experience some yogic practices to calm the body and the mind, release tensions in  key areas and de-stress.  Learn strategies for regular daily use to let go.

Learn some tips on managing arthritis naturally and experience a full yoga practice geared to arthritis.
